iPhone rumors will never stop to flow, this time BGR is reporting that the iPhone Firmware 2.0 (yeah the one with the SDK effect) will support YouTube on Safari using a plugin!
This will allow us to run YouTube from Safari itself without opening a separate application. Although we don’t have any reason to contradict BGR’s claim, only time will tell what iPhone 2.0 holds for us! This reminds me of other rumors that are swirling around about HTML version 5 which will be capable of running videos easily without the need of Flash integration.
So does this mean that Adobe Flash for the iPhone is actually coming? Our take is, not so soon considering that Steve Jobs himself is against the integration. Still it doesn’t mean that Adobe Flash on iPhone is impossible. Only time will tell and we will surely keep our eyes and ears open for latest on this one. Keep tuned!
